Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home, starring Danny McBride as Brian Dundee and Chris Hemsworth as Wally Jr. You'd probably watch it, right?
Well, it was a fake movie release that was actually a tourism ad for Australia. I produced all the digital and social content for the campaign, leading people to think it was a real movie launch. This included a movie website to act as the hub for all trailer releases/“behind the scenes” shots/character content, faked IMDB and Wikipedia pages, digital out of home takeovers across the country, and social channels on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Then, while the Super Bowl ad was being shown (where the reveal happened) we updated all live content across all mediums to point people to Australia.com.
